Beverley Hopwood, writer

Beverley Hopwood grew up in a city, but enjoys the small-town life of mid-western Ontario. Favourite pastimes include travelling, Habitat for Humanity builds, and genealogical research. Happily retired from teaching English and music, she now deems writing an important part of her retirement; however, travel, reading, family, and quilt-making vie for her time. Bev has successfully published four books, and cherishes time devoted to writing with fellow authors. She has been a member of The Word Guild since 2011.

Learning Languages — Volume 2, Issue 3

Learning Languages by Beverley Hopwood discusses the joys and frustrations of learning Portuguese and then putting those lessons into practice while travelling.
