Corals Zheng, writer

Corals Zheng Corals Zheng is an English literature and Political Science double major at the University of Toronto. While her preoccupation is academic research, she loves to write Anne-Carson-style prose essays about uninteresting observations and the day-to-day microaggressions that comes with living in urban spaces. Zheng is an avid traveller of formerly (and currently) communist countries, an urban beekeeper, illustrator for The Varsity, paddle-boater, and hiker.

Eulogy to that Frozen Banana— Volume 3, Issue 3

In her time as a student at the University of Toronto, Corals Zheng has noticed a phenomenon of banana peels littering the streets, inspiring her prose piece, Eulogy to that Frozen Banana.
