Dennis Stein

Dennis Stein, writer

Dennis Stein has been writing historical pieces for free newspapers, and short stories and novels for more than a decade, having begun to take his craft seriously later in life. He has switched writing styles, genres, and the devices he uses to actually do his writing many times, constantly experimenting to find the perfect combination for each project he begins. He lives in Brockville, Ontario, nestled in the scenic Thousand Islands region, with his wife and numerous pets, and can be found most weekends sitting writing or reading. With retirement looming for him from his daytime career, he has spent more and more time crafting words.

Demons of Damascus — Volume 7, Issue 3

In Demons of Damascus, Dennis Stein recounts the powerful and haunting story of a local Syrian refugee, told to him after forging a trust with the electronics shop owner.
