Hilary Shirra is a hydrotechnical engineer, and emerging writer from Calgary, Alberta. She loves reading, writing, and anything to do with the mountains. She completed her first degree in Kingston, and her second abroad, studying debris flows in the French Alps. After graduating, she moved back to Western Canada to be closer to her loved ones, and indulge her passion for mountain sports that make her loved ones nervous.
