Isobel (Izzy) Orfi is a recent graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She grew up just outside of Toronto and spent most of her childhood dancing ballet. At McGill, Izzy studied cognitive science with a focus on neuroscience and psychology. Currently she is travelling and volunteering through the United States, mainly working on construction projects. In Montreal, Izzy lives with her younger sister, Alev.

Isobel Orfi was inspired by the #MeToo movement to share the struggle of a young co-ed and her inappropriate relationship with a professor in her prose piece, Telescopes.
