Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Julie Meier holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary. Her writing has been published internationally in several anthologies and on-line journals. Her flash fiction “These Walls” was shortlisted for the 2020 Edinburgh International Flash Fiction Award, and her story “The Direction of Home” was shortlisted for Blank Spaces 2021 Fiction Anthology Contest.
