Sarah El Sioufi is an Egyptian Canadian whose unpublished manuscript won the Muskoka Novel Marathon and was longlisted for the Santa Fe Writers Project Literary Award. Her work has appeared in Queen’s Quarterly and the anthology, Upon a Midnight Clear. She is currently in the process of editing a novel set in Cairo that was awarded a grant by the Ontario Arts Council. She lives in Algonquin Highlands, Ontario, with her husband and two children.
