Daniel Bay is a fiction writer based out of Southern Ontario. After obtaining his B.A. in Geography at York University, he completed his MA in Critical and Creative Writing at the University of Gloucestershire. A love of geopolitics and spirituality fuels his commitment to writing fiction that delves into person, place, and space. To write, he believes, is one of the best ways of exploring a complicated, but worth-getting-to-know world. Daniel lives in Milton, Ontario.

Vanessa R. Bradley’s favourite thing to do is weave together imaginary worlds on paper, but she also works in communications to support her lifestyle of loving imperial stouts and cooking with fancy ingredients. She lives in Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island) with her wife, where she is working on a fantasy novel and a collection of poetry about the meaning of flowers.

James Dick is an actor, writer, screenwriter, and director living in Toronto, Ontario. He has written short stories and novels across the science fiction, horror, and fantasy genres. He is part of the independent film company, Seven Films. His latest short film, “Clucked,” is featured in the Toronto 48 Hour Film Project’s November 2020 lineup. James is also a film and television critic at Bitesize Breakdown on Instagram, a group of critics who write flash reviews of film and television shows that are 100 words or less. He is currently attending Ryerson University’s Media Production program.

Aileen Luo (she/her) is a Chinese Canadian poet, artist, and graphic designer based in Toronto. Her interests include drinking soup and petting cats. She is open to discussing her love for thrifting cat sweaters or answering any questions at luo.waileen@gmail.com.

Claudette Manzanares draws much of her creative inspiration from her upbringing in Northern Ontario, but now calls Acton, Ontario home. She worked as a massage therapist for over a decade before turning to writing full-time. She regularly participates in writers’ workshops and would be lost without her writers’ tribe!

Gabriel Munro is a writer and composer living in Regina. His writing has appeared in Literally Stories, Haunted MTL, and Sisyphus Quarterly. He’s the Creative Writer and Producer for a country radio station, and also the Director of Communications for Amarok Society, where he works to ensure the accessibility of education overseas.
