Laurence Lumsden Once upon a time Laurence Lumsden worked in tech, but he escaped under the cover of the pandemic, just to tell stories. He was awarded the New Writing Prize at the 2025 Cúirt International Festival of Literature in Galway, Ireland, and his stories have been published in The New Quarterly, Crannóg, Necessary Fiction, Sky Island Journal, River, and The Galway Review.
