Wendy Hayes is a former high school librarian, originally from Montreal. An avid writer since childhood, upon retirement she moved to the 1000 Islands where she became an active member of the writing community. She is the author of two short story collections, Paddington's Wearing A Bra and Still Kicking, and the children’s story, A Forever Home. As well as writing, Wendy sits on the Board of Directors of The St. Lawrence Writers Festival. She currently resides in Brockville, Ontario.
