Ivanka Fear is a former teacher now pursuing her passion for writing. Her poems and short stories appear in Spadina Literary Review, Montreal Writes, Adelaide Literary, October Hill, Scarlet Leaf Review, The Sirens Call, The Literary Hatchet, Wellington Street Review, Aphelion, Muddy River Poetry Review, and elsewhere.

Crystal Randall Barnett has always been obsessed with reading and writing. She studied Rhetoric and Professional Writing at the University of Waterloo, later followed by a Masters degree in Adult Education and Community Development at the University of Toronto.

Gary J. Kirchner holds a Master’s degree in sports biomechanics. He played and coached football at McGill for three decades, and taught physics at the college and high school levels during the same period.

Rod Carley’s second novel, KINMOUNT, won the Silver Medal for Best Regional Fiction from the 2021 Independent Publishers Book Awards and was one of ten books longlisted for the 2021 Stephen Leacock Memorial Medallion for Humour.

John Van Rys lives on a hobby farm outside Dunnville, Ontario, with his wife, two youngest children, dogs, cats, horses, and free-run egg-laying hens. When he’s not at home caring for animals, he spends his time as an English professor at Redeemer University in Hamilton, teaching literature and writing courses.
