Sandra Whitworth lives in rural eastern Ontario on traditional Mohawk territory and is a retired faculty member from York University in Toronto. Her background is Political Science and her scholarly work focuses on gender, feminism, and international security. She continues to explore political themes in her creative writing, which has appeared in the literary journal Grain. In retirement she spends time with bees, runs a not-for-profit concert series, and writes.
